Don't Give Them a Fish, Teach Them How to Fish
In education, we are often focused on getting information into students’ heads. However, despite ours best efforts, we have hard working students who still struggle learning the content. Why? Because they haven’t learned how to learn the content.
In this seminar, we will discuss strategy instruction… not just teaching students what to learn, but how to learn it. Additionally, we will look at ways to motivate students to be on task and how we can effectively communicate learning goals and learning skills to our students.
